Protect, honor and value your life force energy (chi/ki)

Do you often wonder what are the factors that drain you of your precious life force energy or "ki/chi" as referred to in accupuncture, Qigong, and Reiki? As you go through the day, increase your awareness of these types of events, people, conversations, etc., which drain you of your life force. Make a mental note of these items so that you can avoid engaging in such behaviors or situations and/or work on your emotional response to these triggers. For instance, I often lose my life force energy by engaging in pointless small talk, the solution to this trigger for me is to avoid engaging in these types of conversations. Some other behaviors which can drain us of our life force are engaging in gossip, aggressive driving, or negative thinking. By avoiding these triggers and preserving your life force energy, you can instead spend it on positive habits such as exercise, meditation or expression through creative channels such as music and the arts. You can also be much more effective and productive at work and in all aspects of your life. Take a few moments every day to increase your awareness of where you lose your energy and make changes to honor and preserve it.
